MEET DJ HEMAL
DJ Hemal De Silva — Two decades of experience behind the decks, connecting with diverse audiences through music, energy, and an instinctive understanding of the crowd.
20+ YEARS OF MUSICAL EXPERIENCE
With over 20 years of experience in the DJ industry, DJ Hemal De Silva has built a career around music, entertainment and creating unforgettable experiences for audiences across Sri Lanka and overseas.
From kids’ birthday parties and private celebrations to weddings, school events, corporate functions, university events, beach parties and large-scale celebrations, Hemal has performed for a wide variety of crowds and occasions.
His experience also extends overseas, performing for audiences from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
A professional DJ is not simply someone who plays songs — it is about understanding the crowd, reading the energy and knowing exactly what to play at the right moment. DJ Hemal has developed this ability through years of live performance, adapting his music selection to the age group, occasion, nationality, audience and overall atmosphere of each event.
From familiar favourites and timeless classics to current hits and high-energy dance music, every set is shaped around the people in front of the DJ booth.
With more than two decades behind the decks, DJ Hemal De Silva continues to turn events into memorable experiences through music, energy and an instinctive understanding of the crowd.
